Full-time Position: Administrative Assistant

General Responsibility Description:

Wayside Cross Ministries, a Bible-based, Christ-centered recovery ministry for the broken and hurting is seeking an individual with a heart for the afflicted and a background in administration and accounting.

Skills Include:

– Data entry and Record Management Software
– Accounting, Book Keeping and Constituency Management
– Gift Processing Experience in Blackbaud Razors Edge preferred (candidates with Boomerang, GiftWorks or DonorPerfect experience will also be considered)
– Print Production & Prepress experience a plus

Must be able to:

– Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
– Verify data by comparing it to source documents
– Update existing data
– Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
– Have working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, peripheral devices
– Basic understanding of databases
– Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
– Great attention to detail
– Agree with our Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct

Education: Bachelors Degree or higher

Volunteer Position: SEO Strategic Development Advisor

Reports to: Development Coordinator

General Responsibility Description:

Wayside is seeking a highly specialized volunteer who possesses three or more years of professional experience as an SEO Digital Strategist. You have earned a BA from an accredited University, and you desire to make a valuable contribution to our ministry. Work hours and Days flexible for this short-term project. WordPress, Yoast, and Google application experience is a must.
