Who Your Donation Supports

Your donations provide essential support to individuals rebuilding their lives through our ministry.

Larger bulk items, like furniture, appliances and household items also go right to work in our thrifty Resale Stores to help defray the costs of individual care. All proceeds from each sale support the programs and people in recovery at our ministry.

Our residents in recovery stay at Wayside Cross Ministries from six-months to almost two years depending on their program. Your donations help make that possible.

In addition to financial support, clothing and furniture donations, and personal hygiene items for men, women and children, are always a big help. We also accept food donations directly to our kitchens.

Wayside Cross Ministries does not accept used mattresses or box springs. We can only accept new, plastic-sealed mattresses directly from the manufacturer.

How to Donate Goods:

There are four ways to donate clothing and household goods to Wayside Cross Ministries.

Method 1:

Call our Scheduling Office at 888-723-5730 to request a pickup of large items.

Method 2:

24 CONVENIENT CLOTHING DROP BOXES

For clothing and shoes (only), you can drop them off at any one of our area drop-off bins. Click here for a map of our drop-off locations.

Method 3:

WAREHOUSE DROPOFF

Donations can be dropped off at the Warehouse donation center behind 215 E. New York St., in Aurora, Illinois during regular hours of operation, 9am – 3:30pm Monday through Saturday.

Method 4:

REQUEST A FREE PICKUP

If you are in our driving radius and prefer to have your donation picked up, fill out this electronic request form and we’ll be happy to help. Please include the contents and number of boxes/bags and any large items. We will contact you to confirm what we are able to accept and schedule a pickup date!
