Part-Time Case Manager – Lifespring Women’s Ministry | a division of Wayside Cross Ministries

 

General Responsibility Description:

Lifespring Ministry, a division of Wayside Cross that offers long-term transitional housing for women and their children in crisis is seeking a Part-time Case Manager for their Christian ministry. The Case Manager is accountable and responsible for working closely with the director to impellent the ministry’s goals in accordance with Wayside Cross’s mission, vision, and core values. In addition, the Case Manager meets with her assigned residents weekly to ensure they meet their goals. This position reports to the director, and duties and responsibilities include:

• Initial interviewing and registering of residents in accordance with admission procedures
• Coordinating/counseling residents in individual counseling sessions
• Maintaining clear records of resident activities and progress; also maintaining ministry statistics
• Initiating on-the-spot assistance, counsel, or personal witness when appropriate
• Making referrals as needed to external services

Education: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of college credit, Christian counseling, and ministry studies ideal. Be able to multi-task and be proficient in Word and Excel.

Qualifications: interact well with others, be empathic but able to provide disciplinary action when needed and be involved in a Bible-based, Christ-centered church, and possess a servant’s heart. The ability to converse, read, and write in Spanish is a plus.

Must be connected to a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church.

Compensation: Part-time competitive hourly wage based upon skills and experience.
