A donor’s information is recorded to keep the donor informed about Wayside Cross Ministries and provide the donor an opportunity to support our programs. Donor Privacy Policy:
Our intention is to make you aware of our privacy policy, and to inform you of the way your information is used.

We also provide you with the opportunity to remove your name from our mailing list, if you desire to do so.

We collect and maintain the following types of donor information:
•Contact information (name, organization/church, address, e-mail, telephone number) •Payment information (credit card/bank numbers, expiration dates, and gift amounts) •Connection information (how you heard of WCM, how you support WCM) •Requests to receive periodic updates (newsletters, appeals, prayer concerns, e-mails)

WCM uses your information to understand your needs and provide you with better service as a supporter. Specifically, we use the credit card information you provide to complete the desired transaction and upon successfully processing the transaction we do not retain the full credit card number or expiration date. If you request a recurring series of transactions the necessary credit card information is securely stored until the pledge/gifts have been completed and the credit card number and expiration date are destroyed. We do retain and utilize the mailing address and e-mail address(es) provided to communicate with you and provide updates of our ministry. We use any comments you offer or requests you make to respond with the appropriate information, or cease certain forms of communication, as you so desire.

We do not sell your personal data for monetary compensation. We may share your personal data by allowing third parties, such as online advertising services, social networks and data analytics providers, to collect personal data via automated technologies and cookies on websites and apps. From time to time, we may also exchange or share personal information, including name and contact information, with cooperatives or other charities. This allows us to better utilize our resources to reach new donors and audiences in a more cost effective manner. These sharing activities may be considered a “sale” or processing of personal data for targeted advertising under U.S. state privacy laws. You may have the right to opt out of this sharing of your personal data as described below in the Your Privacy Rights section and on these platforms through their privacy policies.
